Indians serve water to guests as soon as they enter their home. Water is thus considered as "Amrit" (Sanskrit: अमृत) or Nectar. Flowers being a natural source of nectar, it was a chosen as an ispiration for this project when we were commisioned to design an object to hold and offer water. Tulip was selected specifically as it only found in Kashmir, home of Asia's biggest Tulip garden. And Kashmir is located in the Himalayan range, which is the natural source of pure water. Hence, we felt that Tulip has the closest connection to water. These tumblers are long lasting & shatter proof, owing to the smart choice of material: Tritan.
