Yale KRATOS Rim Locks
KRATOS Series of Rim Locks designed by Paul Sandip is the first product line from Yale which is aesthetically designed in India. The company is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.
Inspiration
Inspired by the magnificence of nature, the rim locks have been designed to create a visual impression on the onlooker. Mercury, a liquid metal is enigmatic and characterized by it’s organic flow. Designed to capture the aspiration of the user with differentiated aesthetics making it affordable luxury. Durable products that offer unmatched security with aesthetic elegance.
Concept Sketch
” The idea was to capture the fluid essence of mercury flowing and engulfing the lock’s surface in the most minimalist manner. I call it Voluntary Simplicity.” – Paul Sandip
Form + Function
The idea was then converted into a CAD keeping all the functionalities in mind.
Final Product
Thanks to the effort put in by the R&D team to build the design idea into perfection.
